Scope and Contents This collection contains 40 reels of microfilm, containing the proceedings of the Church Missionary Society for Africa and the East. Includes annual Society meeting records, as published in the annual Proceedings, texts of sermons delivered to the Society, member lists, and reports. Volume 1 contains a history of the Society and its by-laws. Topic covered include evangelistic and missionary work in Africa and 19th century church history in Great Britain.All reels are 35mm, positive copies.

Scope and Contents This collection contains Microfilmed copybooks of letters sent to missionaries in the West Indies and loose incoming correspondence from missionaries. Copybooks are indexed at the beginning of volumes. West Indies missions were intended primarily for the proselytization of enslaved peoples in the British colonies. Topics covered include missions and nineteenth-century church and missions history in Great Britain and the Caribbean.
