The Dresser materials comprise one thick "Memory Book," plus several small diaries, financial records and address booklets. The Memory Book is green, 6 X 9 1/4, and includes pasted-in items within the first half, leaving the second half blank. The Nora Emily Kellogg diary is written within a booklet inscribed as "National Safe Deposit Company, First National Bank Building, Chicago." The black book measures 2 3/4 X 5 1/2. Within are printed maps of the U.S. and columns for financial transactions. Miss Kellogg uses the interior primarily for citing books read and class notes.
