Phillips' work as a missionary with the Sudan Interior Mission among the Kambatta people of Ethiopia (1932-1937) and among the Dinka people of Sudan (1938-1949). There is also some information on his involvement in other ministries, such as Ambassadors for Christ and the Allentown Rescue Mission.
