Adeline Eliza Collins Papers

Scope and Contents The Addie Eliza Collins Papers is composed of biographical information about her principalship at Wheaton College, correspondence with Collins' decendants, college manuscripts and family photographs. The bulk of the collection centers around a dozen hand-written college papers in delicate script and family photographs from 1870-1900 including her mother, children and grandchildren.

Scope and Contents The Adrienne Jones scrapbook is blue, embossed with a large gold "W" on the cover, and measures 16 x 12 1/4. Tucked into the front are loose photos of Charles Blanchard and his wife. The introductory pages are columns for the citing of names, addresses and comments of classmates. Further photos display family, friends and college faculty. Included are social event invitations and notices.
