The Adventure of the Piccadilly Flat materials, 1999
Scope and Contents
Correspondence between Reynolds and Jill Paton Walsh on the Lord Peter Wimsey unpublished work titled "The Adventure of the Piccadilly Flat." Included is a copy of an early Wimsey manuscript with annotations presumably by Reynolds (same as Wade DLS / MS-119 titled "Introducing Lord Peter"), and a lecture on "inspiration" by Walsh which was given at Regent's College, Oxford as part of a series on the spirituality of art. The location of the "Adventure of the Piccadilly Flat" manuscript is unknown. See Reynolds's biography on Sayers, chapter 12, for a description of the manuscript content featuring the character Sexton Blake. 53 pp
