The Chronicles of Narnia Movies Archive

Collection — Container: On top of file cabinets
Identifier: Wade-A-97 through 98 and A-40 (oversize materials)

Scope and Contents

There are 4 series in this archive: one series for each movie title, and an Oversized Materials series. More series will be added as additional films are released.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe series contains the subseries: Movie Production Materials (items relating to the production of the film, including scripts, production photographs, shooting schedules, etc.), Commercial Items (commercially-produced documents promoting or in conjunction with the film release, including sound and video recordings), and the Narnia Exhibition (a travelling exhibit with props and environments from the films. The Wade Center loaned items to this exhibition, and has related materials in this subseries from the company which designed the exhibition, the Becker Group, and documents from several exhibition locations).

The Prince Caspian series includes a few items from the film’s production (script, shooting schedule, etc.), the movie press kit, and some commercial items.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader series only has a single pre-production letter currently, and will have additions once more materials are acquired by the Wade Center closer to the film’s release.

The Oversized Materials series is stored in a separate box, and contains design concepts for Narnia the Exhibition, concept art for the Prince Caspian film, printing proofs from Prince Caspian: The Official Illustrated Movie Guide, and a large promotional “call to arms” folder for Prince Caspian.
