Dorothy L. Sayers is well-known as an author of detective fiction. Her detectives Lord Peter Wimsey and Montague Egg feature in many novels and short stories which have become detection classics. These materials represent some of the research Sayers did to add realism to her works of detective fiction.
The material in this archive was acquired at auction from Sotheby’s in London by the Wade Center in 2012. The original Sotheby’s lot(s) included in this archive are: Lot 104, vi and x.
