This archive contains photocopied materials from Mr. William L. Knecht. Mr. Knecht was studying C.S. Lewis's view of apotheosis (literally the elevation of humans to divine status) and compiled a large amount of correspondence with authors, pastors, and national Christian leaders. Also included are two manuscripts, a first and second draft of his study.The letters are quite detailed in Knecht's questions to these people and also in their answers.
