John Gration oral history interviews.
Content Description
Reel-to-reel audio tapes (7) of extended loosely structured interviews of Gration by Caryn Pederson. Interviews were recorded on cassette tapes on March 21,23,28,30 and April 3, 6, 11, 13, 16, 1996, and transferred to reel-to-reel tape by the Archives; all copies were recorded on one side only at 3-3/4 ips. The recording quality on side one of the first cassette (transferred to T1) was very poor, almost inaudible. The interviews were recorded as the basis for a Grad School project Pederson was writing on leadership, specifically Gration's leadership. Subjects covered in the interviews include Gration's youth, spiritual development, mission work in Africa and the US with AIM. Language: English.
