Moving image recordings in this collection provide a representative sampling of post-war evangelical Christian film companies, and cover various topics such as dramatizations of stories from the life of Jesus and of the Apostle Paul, Christian lifestyle, church and social issues, communism, drug and alcohol abuse, evangelism, immigration, materialism, mass media in religion, meaning of life, missions, the natural world as a reflection of God, politics, refugees, relationships, rock and roll, salvation, teenagers and the church, and values. Prominent people and organizations featured or depicted include Joe Aldrich, Bibles for the World, John Bunyan, William Carey, Chuck Colson, Christmas Evans, Irvin Moon, Hugh Latimer, Prison Fellowship, John Perkins, Rochunga Pudiate, Brother Roger Schultz of Taizé, Albert Schweitzer, Voice of Calvary Ministries, and John Wesley. Unless otherwise noted, the Archives holds only one copy of each item.

The items in this collection were collected by the Archives from production companies to provide a sampling of evangelical Christian audiovisual efforts. The items were donated by two Christian film libraries that went out of business, Inspir Action Films of LaGrange, Illinois, and Leffingwell Films of Kansas.
