Scope and Contents

Collection contains hundreds of postcards gathered by the Billy Graham Museum and Wheaton College Billy Graham Center Archives staff and relating to America religious history in one way or another — a photograph of a Catholic cathedral, an advertising card sent out by a traveling evangelist, an illustrated verse from a hymn, a reminder card to attend Sunday school, etc. Very few cards date before the 20th century. The vast majority of postcartds are not individually described and can be found only by looking through the notebooks and box in which they are stored. Accession 06-04 is arranged into photo files. The remaining cards are arranged into notebooks in accession number order shown below:

This collection consists of hundreds of postcards cards collected from a variety of sources by staff of the Billy Graham Museum and Wheaton College Billy Graham Center Archives. The bulk of the cards were transferred to the Archives from the Museum at the beginning of 2006.
