Scope and Contents

Photograph and oral history interview with Julius Hagan, an evangelist and church planter from Ghana. Topics discussed in interviews include early family life in Accra, Ghana, Christian culture of Ghana, school life, struggle with alcohol, conversion and freedom from addiction, further education, spiritual disciplines and experiences, evangelism through the Christlike Disciplemakers Movement and Bible College, work evangelizing fellow students at the University of Ghana and Ghent University, attending the Wheaton College Evangelism & Leadership Program, comparisons between U.S. and Ghana church culture. The time covered by the interviews is 1989 to 2019. The photograph depicts Hagan and Dr. Philip Ryken after praying God’s blessing on Hagan's calling to be a church planter and evangelist to the Muslim community in Ghent, Belgium.

2012-2018 - Disciple-maker and teacher in the Department of Evangelism and Missions at the Christlike Disciplemakers’ Movement (CDM) Bible College.

2016-2018 - Mobilizer for (CDM) working with churches and para-church organizations to organize prayer, training, and church planting.

2018-2019 - Task force leader for CDM in Europe.
