Small Collection 111 Papers of Anna D. Hocfield

 Collection
Identifier: Small CN 111

Scope and Contents

This collection contains several brief handwritten evangelistic homilies on various Bible texts relating to the Christian life and the nature of God.  They were apparently written by Anna D. Hocfield, but it is also possible she was simply copying all or some of them from books or magazines.  The collection also includes the start of a letter, probably by Hocfield, to a F.L. Rowe, who apparently was the editor of a religious periodical abbreviated as "L+W" (Life and Works?) and a pamphlet giving the doctrinal position of the Church of Christ in Philadelphia.
