Personal correspondence of Sider, a leading Evangelical Protestant advocate for social justice, non violence, and pro-life causes. Papers document his life from his college years until his death, especially his founding and leadership of Evangelicals for Social Action (later Christians for Social Action, participation in numerous social justice groups and conferences, advocacy for cooperation between Christians of Evangelical, Catholic and other traditions; as well as his work as a teacher and author. There are also notes, drafts of chapters, and other research materials used for his dissertation on Andreas Karlstadt.
