Summary Note

Margaret tells of the compound, housework, market, and sewing. The compound had begun to look like what Margaret had hoped for (it looked like a park). Dan Bovee had done a great deal to bring this about. There was a man for cutting the grass all day long and carrying water. Nai Lai was doing repairs in the house. Margaret also had a seamstress coming to catch up on the sewing work. It was a lot of work to have enough clothes available at all time in the hot climate. Market in Trang was every third day, and there was little you could buy there. (Length 3:00)
