Summary Note
Kenneth details his job as Dean and gives reflections on the congratulations he received for his new position, along with the work he had done with the Seminar. He felt, during a dinner in the Executive Dining Room, that many whom he barely knew went out of their way to express their wishes for him in his new job. He was welcomed gladly back to the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) by many members such as Ed Wright and Andy Coray, assuring him it was good that he had gotten out of the Seminar. Even after the seminar was out of his control, Kenneth was asked to speak the second day of the session, following the day in which the Attorney General and General Maxwell Taylor were to speak.
