Mary Ruth Howes Scrapbooks
Scope and Contents
The three Mary Ruth Howes ('53) scrapbooks contain clippings, memorabilia and campus-related programs. The first is an 11 x 14 white covered album, bound with gold cord with Wheaton College and the college seal in blue felt lettering. It covers the 1949-1950 academic year and includes athletic programs and clippings of the 1950 Revival, and groundbreaking for the Nicholas Library and Memorial Student Center. The second scrapbook is 12x12, deep red in color and covered with roses. It covers Howes' senior year and includes photos and annotations of the Black Hills, newsclippings, postcards and memorabilia from 1952-53. The final scrapbook #3 is a large 12
