Scope and Contents

Embossed with the words, "The Girl Graduate, Her Own Words," and decorated with flowers and feminine imagery, this scrapbook chronicles the college career of Hazel Willard, graduate of North Belvidere High School in Belvidere, IL. Aside from a few photos featuring Wheaton College faculty and students, the majority of the scrapbook is filled with invitations to campus recitals, literary society notices, game tickets, recipes, inspirational and college-related clippings, and alumni notices. Four folded napkins are tucked within. The scrapbook, measuring 5 3/4 x 9 1/4, was designed and illustrated by Louise Perrett and Sarah K. Smith, a Wheaton College alumna, for the Reilly and Britton Co. of Chicago.
