Orlin Kohli Scrapbook
Scope and Contents
The Orlin Kohli material comprises two photo albums. One album is stickered "Pictures, 1918." The photos were probably cut from college publications, then pasted within. The books measure 9 X 11 1/2 and are bound with a string. The images portray familiar Wheaton College staff, faculty and buildings. The majority of the images are unidentified by Kohli; however, he may have written descriptions on the section of the page whereon the photo is attached, thus covering his caption, as indicated by one loose photo. The box containing the scrapbooks also contains folders with sheets of construction paper displaying inspirational poems, cartoons and articles, with several photos from Kohli's stationing at Camp Sherman, OH. Includes a letter from Charles Blanchard to Kohli while Kohli was assigned to Camp Sherman, as well as a small folder of photo negatives featuring various people around Wheaton College Campus.
