Scope and Contents

The hinged cover of this scrapbook, inscribed as "Scraps," are made of blond decorative wood, measuring 7 X 9. "Scraps" features the memories of Miss Mary Meter of Northville, NY, '43. It includes freshman programs, grade cards, literary society invitations, one pressed flower, itineraries for Women's Glee Club, typed Bible verses, "thank you" cards and a few personal notes to friends. Additional casual, handwritten notes describe the particulars of events such as the All Informal, simply detailing the colors of dresses, decorations and so forth. One loose sheet cites a daily schedule, segmented into hourly blocks.
