Doris L. McShane Scrapbook
Scope and Contents
The Doris L. McShane scrapbook has faded, leatherlike covers, sporting an imprint of roses beneath the words, "A Girl's Commencement: Rosebud Memories." The 6 X 9 book contains pasted-in articles describing literary society events, in addition to concerts invitations, glee clubs and recitals. Glued within are cloth and construction paper decorations from special events and holidays. Photos portray the Wheaton Academy basketball and baseball teams, including schedules for games. Souvenirs from cross-country travels, such as a Hershey candy wrapper and train tickets, are attached.
