Scope and Contents
The A.A. Brown ('21) photo album, composed of gray construction paper, features a few words of description beneath each image, identifying persons and places. Interesting photos include an aerial of Blanchard Hall, the former chapel located in Blanchard Hall, the graduating class of 1919, and images of the severe damage inflicted upon the City of Elgin after a tornado hit in 1920. The book's covers are black, measuring 11 1/2 x 7. Other images show Charles Blanchard, Darien Straw, Elsie Dow, Prof. Bole, in addition to classroom and recreational scenes.
