This blowgun dart quiver is a cylindrical bamboo container which is closed on the bottom. Attached to a stick is a large gourd called a calabash with a hole which is filled with floss of a silk cotton tree (Stirling 1938). There are decorative carvings on both the calabash and the quiver and a woven strap is attached to the quiver.
