The Dottie Shufelt Klopfenstein ('65) scrapbook is an ornate wood-bound photo memory book from the Class of 1965 freshman retreat at Potawatomi Inn. Additional color photographs from the sophomore retreat are matted on black construction paper and include annotations in white ink.

The Elizabeth Green papers contain material relating to the life and career of Elizabeth and Albert Green, father and daughter. Elsie Dow Papers
The Dow papers are organized into five series (Biographical, Correspondence, Manuscripts, Publish Material and Secondary). The bulk of the collection relates to Dow’s teaching and speaking career and includes notebooks, speeches and class notes. Another portion of some significance is genealogical files located with the biographical series. The collection contains several folders of correspondence in various series.
Enock Dyrness Papers
The papers of Enock C. Dyrness contains one folder containing biographical material; however, the bulk of the collection deals primarily with his professional interests, including correspondence with Henry C. Thiessen, and later Thiessen's estate. Secondary material includes pamphlets and surveys about Wheaton College and various mission agencies. The collection occupies .42 linear ft.

The Esther Young Depue scrapbook is green, measuring 9 1/4 x 13, tied with a string. Several loose pamphlets are tucked into the front, with items such as a 1940 banquet invitation, homecoming highlights and literary society invitations, in addition to several Wheaton College Bulletins from 1940-42. The latter pages of the scrapbook are blank. The pages are yellowed and crumbling.
Frank Earl Herrick Papers
The Herrick papers consist of memorabilia and scrapbooks that document his student and poetic careers. The bulk are scrapbooks containing poems written during his lifetime and that highlight events in the life of Wheaton College and the surrounding community.

Gordon L. Rhoad Papers
Measuring 3 x 4 1/2, the Gordon L. Rhoad diary is black and flexible, embossed with "Lett's Quikref Diary." Entries run from Jan. 1, 1924 to October 9, 1924. Under the column called "Owner's Name and Address" on the Personal Memoranda page is written, "Gordon L. Rhoad, Mbooni Machakos, Kenya Colony, Africa." The entries chronicle his daily life, travels and occasional missionary activity in the U.S., Kenya and Europe.
Harriet Crawford Hone Scrapbook
The Harriet Crawford Hone ('44) scrapbook is green, measuring 10 1/4 x 14. The first page features paste-in photos of Blanchard Hall and V. Raymond Edman (whose 1941 inauguration program is attached later in the book). Following are photos and items from her freshman year, 1940-41. Most of the images are identified with the names of the participants. Included are invitations, holiday greeting cards, recital and play programs, and commencement exercises.

The Jean Leckemby scrapbooks number four volumes, spanning her years at Wheaton during 1937, '38, '39 and '40. Each volume contains programs of campus events, literary societies, rulebooks, holiday cards, correspondence and newspaper clippings. The books measure 10 1/2 x 14.
Jeanne Murray Walker Papers
The Jeanne Murray Walker papers are organized into five series, Biographical, Correspondence, Manuscripts, Media and Research Material. The bulk of the collection is divided amongst the Manuscripts and Correspondence series. The manuscripts comprise mostly play-related files, rather than poetry. The correspondence is mostly that which was received by Ms. Walker dating from 1990 to 2003.

The John J. Coleman diary numbers 96 pages in a leather binding, now dis-attached at the covers. Each page contains Coleman's script. The book measures 3 X 5 1/2. His handwriting is legible as he engagingly relates daily life at Wheaton College during the years in which he attended, 1886-89.
John Stoll Scrapbook
The John Stoll box holds two slim folders. The first contains photos of the track and field team, with a red 1944 Second Place ribbon. Also included is an unused postcard depicting Notre Dame University, homecoming programs, and articles about champion marathon runner Gil Dodds. The second folder contains a War Ration Book, frosh rules, a 1945 Washington Banquet program and two Wheaton College Bulletins, dated Feb 1945 and Sept. 1942.

The Lois Stratton (1909) scrapbook is black and oblong, measuring 11 x 7. The contents are loose from the binding. A sheet tucked into the front describes its contents: invitations, play programs, name tags, literary society menus, student handbooks, pressed flowers and commencement exercises. Photos include faded images of gathered students, in buildings and outdoors. Stratton's diploma is pasted in the back, indicating her graduation from the Wheaton College School of Music.

Highlights include: Field Anthropology class with Dr. Mixter; bird watching photos; outdoor commencement with Dr. Edman.

The Martha Dunham scrapbook measures 10 1/4 x 14. It is black and tied with a string, spanning the years 1938-9. Tucked into the front are two notebook sheets with handwritten notes, briefly explaining the contents of the scrapbook. Included are campus event invitations, holiday cards, pressed flowers, invoices and campus publications such as the Bulletin and the Record. The pages are numbered to 51, although the total page count exceeds that figure.

Nellie Straw Scrapbook
The Nellie Straw (1904) scrapbook is composed of stiff black construction paper, now completely dis-attached from its binding. The "scraps" are glued directly onto the cover, and filling every page for the remainder of the book. Items include holiday cards, poems, notes to friends, invitations to recitals and literary society functions, drawings. In addition are various Wheaton College publications, such as financial reports, rulebooks and commencement programs. It measures 14 x 11.
Nora Emily Kellogg Papers
The Nora Emily Kellogg diary is written within a booklet inscribed as "National Safe Deposit Company, First National Bank Building, Chicago." The black book measures 2 3/4 X 5 1/2. Within are printed maps of the U.S. and columns for financial transactions. Miss Kellogg uses the interior primarily for citing books read and class notes.
