Scope and Contents The Martha B. "Mattie" Woodard sketchbook contains laboratory notes and drawings from her Zoology course by Professor R.C. Mullenix taken spring 1899.  The 10x7x.5 inch sketchbook was from Boyer's Series of Science Tablets designed by E.R. Boyer, published by Central School Supply House, Chicago, 1895.  The tablet sold for 40 cents and containted thirty sheets of both high-grade drawing paper and ruled paper, bound with cardboard covers and cloth-bound edge and brass fasteners.
