The Jeanne Murray Walker papers are organized into five series, Biographical, Correspondence, Manuscripts, Media and Research Material. The bulk of the collection is divided amongst the Manuscripts and Correspondence series. The manuscripts comprise mostly play-related files, rather than poetry. The correspondence is mostly that which was received by Ms. Walker dating from 1990 to 2003.

Nearly the entire collection is found in the Teaching Materials series. These files served as the background material for his classroom lectures.
