Scope and Contents

This collection consists of 2,587 sheets of microfiche containing  correspondence and memos, chiefly 1910-1945, especially to Joseph  H. Oldham and William Paton. The microfiche primarily concerns India and British Africa, but includes material about African areas under Belgium, Portuguese and French control as well. Manuscript material is correspondence and memoranda related especially to key mission figures Joseph H. Oldham (1874-1969) and William Paton (1886-1943); much printed material is also included.
