Includes annual Society meeting records, as published in the annual Proceedings, texts of sermons delivered to the Society, member lists, and reports. Volume 1 contains a history of the Society and its by-laws. Topic covered include evangelistic and missionary work in Africa and 19th century church history in Great Britain.All reels are 35mm, positive copies.

Historical Information
The Church Missionary Society for Africa and the Middle East was formed as part of the Anglican church to complement the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel. Its primary concentration was on using non-ordained missionaries to bring the gospel to the unevangelized people groups of Africa and the Far East.
